New for 2017

We’re excited about 2017!  It’s hard to believe that Task Force 1, Inc. has been around since 2005. That’s 12 years! A lot has changed since our humble beginnings. We grew exponentially from a handful of instructors to over 50 instructors. Likewise we’ve grown from few programs now offering a plethora of training opportunities.

What has NOT changed is how we do business. From the start our goal was to deliver quality training opportunities providing useful information to the end user, YOU, not “canned” training programs that are the same in every delivery but learning experiences that are built around the needs and expectations of the customer, YOU!

We have prided ourselves on the claim “whatever we teach you or show you must be useful to your organization”. Maybe not in total, maybe not today, but at some point the concept, practice or technique and be integrated into your organizations day to day operations. It may have to be tweaked, twisted or otherwise modified but NEVER say NEVER.

Training is not entertainment. It is not war stories. It is not a boasting event that my department is better than yours. Instead it is about sharing information. It’s about brotherhood.  We have been criticized by some for sharing all our class content at the end of a program. Why some ask? We say why not!  We’re here to train. We’re here to share not tease you. Not everyone attends the training. Take what we showed you and share it with them. Let them share it with others. That’s ok. That’s exactly what we want you to do.

As we continue to evolve 2017 will have several new program offerings. Some of them are currently being developed right now. We will also expand our market to include others that we have not focused on in the past. Law enforcement, corrections, hospitals, institutions of higher educations, schools and churches. Why? Because today’s world does not allow us to operate in a vacuum. Like it or not, we all have to play in the same sandbox. They need to be ready. They need to be able to interface with first responders.

In  2017 we look to  expand our consulting services. Our staff has a wealth of knowledge to share with those who are looking to consolidate, wanting to grow or desiring to get to that “next” level to meet the needs of their community. We’d be honored to be a part of your organization’s plans to assess, educate and refine.

Finally, realize that not everyone can attend a hands-on training program. We will make our training opportunities more readily available by implementing some non-traditional means of education including podcasts, on-line learning, e-learning,  independent studies and videos.  So we have our work cut out for us in 2017!  Thank you again for your confidence in Task Force 1, Inc.
