Now more than ever before the challenges of the 21st century is stretching the volunteer emergency services towards a breaking point. This is a long list of problems, symptom and excuses of why it has come to this point.
The fact is that many communities across the nation depend on the services these organizations provide with few reasonable alternatives. This program will look at our current state of affairs identifying strategies to adapt emergency service organizations to meet the community needs with well staffed, volunteer membership doing so in a cost effective manner.
Through interactive discussion, working in break out groups, role playing and the use of other tools, this program will help to prepare emergency service leader to develop strategies for the longevity of their organizations. (2 day program)
