At the Hinckley Fire Department 1616 Ridge Road Hinckley, OH
April 6-7, 2019 at 8:30 AM
We all struggle with challenges that look like unscalable mountains. Light staffed fireground operations are no different.
The good news is that there are strategies that can work to improve efficiency without compromising safety. This program will delve into three fireground functions: Engine, Truck, and Command functions. By looking at the essential tasks that need to be identified, assigned and completed, light staffing does not to have to equate with defeat.Over two days students will experience best practices when faced with light staffed fireground scenarios. From command officers to the company officer down to the rookie firefighter all will benefit from this intense hands on program. Class size is limited. Full PPE required for all students!
