Light or understaffed firegrounds have become the norm rather than the exception. Keeping safety paramount, sound and efficient Fireground practices are a must. Being fundamentally sound is critical. In this program we show you best practices to maximize your effectiveness on the fireground. However there are many administrative steps that can be implemented well in advance of response to provide you a sound format to operate in. This program will transition from the classroom to the field for various skill stations and scenario-based evolutions. At the conclusion of this program participants will have an appreciation for fireground operations with light staffing.
Note: SCBA—PPE required for hands on evolutions.
