A MAYDAY is a low frequency, high risk event. There are countless trained, properly equipped and adequately staffed rapid intervention crews around the nation who are being set up for failure without a properly trained officer who will be charged with the responsibility of managing a MAYDAY. Managing a mayday requires a strong command presence with discipline built around competent officers.
A blend of interactive discussion, lecture, group exercises with case study reviews of line of duty deaths involving maydays this program will prepare officers to participate in scenario-based MAYDAY events. This program is intense, challenging and stressful, just like a “real” MAYDAY! Don’t wait until MAYDAY is called to prepare!
