Churches, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Schools, Venues, Workplaces, Fire, EMS & Police and Municipal Officials: Are you prepared?
We live in a fallen world. Evil lurks around every corner. Schools, college campuses, movie theaters, churches and even music concerts have been the scenes of terrible, unexpected carnage. No one is safe. No one is immune. No one can predict where the next location will be. Ask anyone who experienced an active shooter event. Guaranteed, they did not have the slightest inkling that they would be involved in such a horrific event.
Here is the reality of an active shooter incident:
The event is rapid.
The shooter wants to hurt or kill as many as possible.
You will have to fend for yourselves.
The event is “finished” in a few minutes.
A law enforcement response can take 5-7 minutes
Emergency medical services can even take longer.
This program will provide insights into what one of these events really looks like, how fast it unfolds, the chaos, the confusion and the helpless feeling. However, we will also share some strategies that greatly increase rates of survival. You are on your own for the first five minutes. Period. We’ll show what steps you can take to stop the dying.
