This program will train personnel to the NFPA 1407 standard. Our veteran instructors will share their experiences in the classroom, then transition to the field to demonstrate various life-saving techniques. The students are then challenged by several demanding drills. The program then transitions to an entire day physically and mentally demanding “MAYDAY” exercises.
A PA State Fire Instructor, Chief Richards has over 40 years of experience in both career and volunteer fire services serving as Fire Chief in three departments. He is the founder of and the President of Task Force 1, Inc.
Kristian is a 14 year veteran in the fire service. Currently Kristian is an emergency vehicle driver (EVD) with the Baltimore City Fire Department. He is assigned to Truck Company 8 in the South West section of the city.
Jason has been involved in the fire service since 2001. He is currently a Captain assigned in the Columbia Fire Dept (SC) Training Bureau. Prior to the Training Bureau, Captain Joannides was assigned to Truck Company 7 and Engine Company 12. the has been an adjunct instructor with the South Carolina Fire Academy since 2007.
