Chris is a 22 year veteran of the fire service and a Captain in the Houston Fire Department. Previously, Chris served with several Volunteer Fire Departments before being hired by the Texas City Fire Department, as a Firefighter Paramedic. Chris has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Emergency Management. In 2000, Chris was hired by the Houston Fire Department. He currently holds the rank of Captain on Engine 60 in District 28, on the Southwest side of Houston. Chris has been assigned to several of Houston’s busiest firehouses both on Engine and Truck Companies to include Station 26, 33, 34, 35 and 69. Chris is certified as a Master Firefighter, Fire Instructor, Field Examiner and a Hazmat Technician. He’s also a Fire Academy Instructor for the Houston Community College.
