NEW! Firefighter survival 
This program addresses PPE awareness and personal tools, forcible exit tools, “May Day” Procedures for lost, trapped and disoriented firefighters, down FF positioning and panic management.

The hands-on-training portion of the class covers wall construction/breaching, Profiling: Low and zero, self-escape/bailout techniques using rope with a tool, hose, the window hang and a ladder, wire entanglement, buddy breathing emergency SCBA procedures & escape techniques,  and hose coupling identification. The class ends with an SCBA confidence course. 16 hours

NEW! Simplifying complex/large area 
occupancy search procedures
This comprehensive multi-media presentation and hands-on-training program will focus on firefighters searching for life, fire or downed firefighter(s) in a complex/large area occupancy. Firefighters must have a search procedure in place that allows them to simplify this low frequency, extremely high rpm/risk event. With the use of a thermal imager and search line, firefighters should be able to search complex/large area occupancies safer, quicker and more efficiently than ever before. This program will cover thermal imager assisted and unassisted searches, and the method of a deploying a search line in a complex/large area occupancy.

Command for company officers
New fire officers will soon realize that the recent promotion is more thatn just a new colored helmet and a different title. From dealing with station situations that can frustrate even a seasoned officer to making things "happen" on the fireground, Task Force 1 instructors will share their experiences in what being a company officer is all about. The course features an introduction to strategy and tactics and is followed by an Incident Command System/NIMS orientation. Students will participate in various scenarios. 16 hours
Engine company operations
This course features a combination of lecture and discussion is followed a series of field exercises lead by some of the nation's best engine company officers.

Learn the role of the engine company. Since not all fires happend in single family dwelllings, our instructor will take you through vaious evolutions that will challenge event the best engine companies .16 hours

Truck company operations
TF1 instructors explain the responsibilities of a truck company. Learn why the truck company is so important on the private dwellings and commercial building fires. 

From the "bread and butter" single family dwelling fires to blazes in commercial buildings, Task Force 1 instructors will share their years of experiences in dealing with these day to day challenges. A series of field drills and exercises will allow you to participate in various evolutions. 16 hours
