techniques using rope with a tool, hose, the window hang and a ladder,
wire entanglement, buddy breathing emergency SCBA procedures & escape

and hands-on-training program will focus on firefighters searching for
life, fire or downed firefighter(s) in a complex/large area occupancy.
Firefighters must have a search procedure in place that allows them to
simplify this low frequency, extremely high rpm/risk event. With the use
of a thermal imager and search line, firefighters should be able to search
complex/large area occupancies safer, quicker and more efficiently than
ever before. This program will cover thermal imager assisted and unassisted
searches, and the method of a deploying a search line in a complex/large
area occupancy.
